Arthur Bitsch (b. 1996) is a French artist based in Strasbourg. Trained in both design and visual arts, he approaches creation as a total discipline, where art, design and space become the mediums of a single act of creation.

Rooted in a conceptual approach, his work carries a symbolic vision of forms and materials, an archetypal vision of art. Traversed by the notion of the collective unconscious, his creations give myths and symbols a sculptural, architectural and technical formalization. Questioning the processes of fabrication and breathing a soul into matter, he syncretizes technology and metaphysics, craft and concept.

His works, produced in limited editions or as unique pieces, explore various typologies: object, furniture, lighting, sculpture. These artifacts are the result of symbolic reflection, where each becomes the receptacle of a concept, an idea.

From this multidisciplinary perspective, embracing creation as a whole, Arthur Bitsch pursues his research and commitment within a practice that questions matter, form and concept.
