STAL BENCH

This bench is made of MDF and 3D-printed PETG, coated with Dark Matter. At its core lies the concept of nigredo, a black and primordial matter understood as the unconscious principle of transformation. Stal draws on the archetype of the church pew. Set slightly lower than the Curul chair, it materialises the dominant/dominated relationship that structures Christian mysticism. This piece embodies a scenography of power and devotion.
