DIONYSOS

This bas-relief is made of MDF and 3D-printed PETG, coated with Dark Matter. At its core lies the concept of nigredo, a black and primordial matter understood as the unconscious principle of transformation. Dionysos represents the archaic figure of the god, in his Nietzschean conception as the principle of unconscious force, libido and fertile chaos. This piece explores the symbolism of this archetype, buried within the collective unconscious.
