GNOMON

This bas-relief is made of MDF and 3D-printed PETG, coated with Dark Matter. At its core lies the concept of nigredo, a black and primordial matter understood as the unconscious principle of transformation. Gnomon represents the archaic symbol of the solar compass, instrument of measure, division and cosmic order. This piece explores the symbolism of this archetype, buried within the collective unconscious.
