PADA

This bas-relief is made of MDF and 3D-printed PETG, coated with a material called Dark Matter. At its core lies the concept of nigredo, a black and primordial matter understood as the unconscious principle of transformation. Pada represents the archaic symbol of the foot, in its Jungian conception and its symbolic meaning in Sanskrit tradition. This piece explores the symbolism of this archetype, buried within the collective unconscious.
